In our society today there are Christian and non-Christian churches. Under the Christian group is a Baptist church. These are the congregations whose teachings are based on the New Testament, most especially on the Gospel. Baptists consider the Bible as the authority in the guiding principles of how we should live. And with this notion, we are guided by the Words of God in our existence if we follow the Holy Scripture as it should be. Baptists are also known to be Bible-believing Christians.
With the denomination starting way back in the seventeenth century, over the course of time there are roughly about a hundred million members to date. In the US alone, Baptists are known to be the largest born again Christians in the country. Born again is the term used for people who had been reborn spiritually. The term has originated from the Bible where Jesus mentioned one should be born again in order to see God’s kingdom. And as the guiding principles of the Baptists founded on the New Testament, they believe that acceptance of Jesus in our lives is our first step to being born again.
As we know that the Baptists established their teachings and practices in the New Testament of the Holy Bible, there are some groups that no longer strictly adhere to these teachings thus independent fundamental Baptist was created. They distinguish themselves from the modern day Baptist churches that have become worldly in their traditions and how they carry out their lives.
Most Baptist church Lexington has can be found within the New Circle Rd in the city although there are a couple lying beyond the area but just not very far. Each church offers worshippers not simply teachings and learning the Bible in a deeper sense however they also offer fellowship for every member and make them feel welcome no matter where they are coming from. Feel the warm reception of members of the congregation and your spiritual journey is not made alone but with people with the same goal.
That makes it even more exciting as you share the teachings of the Bible, as you commune with one another and with the Higher Being. Road to spiritual growth is best shared with friends and people who are able to give the appropriate inputs with every dogma that is being taught.
